How often should I have a medi-facial?

Every 4 to 6 weeks is typical to build and maintain results. We tailor frequency to your skin's concerns — some skins respond best to a fortnightly cycle for the first month, then taper to monthly.

Will a medi-facial include extractions?

Extractions are included where appropriate — for congestion, blackheads or whiteheads. We always perform extractions gently and only on skin that can tolerate them. Some sensitive or inflamed skins are better served without extractions.

The exfoliation step is selected according to your skin type, concerns and goals.
Depending on your skin on the day, your therapist may use a gentle enzymatic or active exfoliation, or incorporate dermaplaning where appropriate to remove surface build-up and fine facial hair.
Dermaplaning is not automatically performed with every Signature Facial, it is simply one of the techniques our dermal therapists can incorporate when they feel it will benefit your skin.
