What does LED light therapy actually do for my skin?

LED light therapy uses specific wavelengths of light to trigger different cellular responses in the skin. Red light stimulates collagen and reduces inflammation. How often should I have LED light therapy?

For active concerns like breakouts or inflammation, 2 to 3 sessions per week for the first 4 to 6 weeks gives the fastest results. For ongoing maintenance and anti-aging, weekly or fortnightly sessions work well.

Is LED light therapy painful or have any downtime?

No — LED therapy is completely painless and has zero downtime. You lie comfortably while the light works for around 20 to 30 minutes. There is no heat or sensation beyond a warm, relaxing glow.

Can LED light therapy help with acne, rosacea or inflammation?

LED LIGHT THERAPY

The treatment feels similar to lying in warm sunlight, and is very relaxing however, you may experience a bright and warming sensation. A flushed appearance directly after the treatment that will quickly subside.
Blue 415nm: Blemish fighting blue light destroys the bacteria that causes acne and improves skin clarity without irritation. It is also great at reducing redness, especially in those who suffer from rosacea, eczema and dermatitis.

There is no downtime.
This treatment is cumulative, it works wonderfully as a regular addition to your other treatments but can be done as a standalone. The more you have, the better skin gets. To achieve optimal results, we recommend a series of 6-12 sessions.
