EXCEL-V

The Cutera Excel V is an advanced medical laser system that uses dual wavelengths (532 nm and 1064 nm) to precisely treat vascular-related skin concerns including facial redness, rosacea, broken capillaries and visible veins.

  • The number of treatments required depends on the condition being treated, its severity, and individual response. Most clients require 1–3 sessions, spaced several weeks apart, for optimal reduction of redness or visible capillaries.

  • There is minimal downtime. Some temporary redness, swelling, or warmth in the treated area is common and typically resolves within a few hours to a few days. Normal activities can usually be resumed immediately.

  • The treatment is often described as a brief snapping or warming sensation as the laser targets blood vessels. Excel V includes a cooling system to improve comfort during treatment.

  • Some improvement may be visible shortly after treatment, particularly for superficial vessels. Redness and capillaries continue to fade over the following weeks as treated vessels are reabsorbed by the body. Results improve progressively with additional sessions.
