WHAT TO EXPECT:
A surgical blade is passed over the skin of the face removing the superficial dead skin cells of the stratum corneum (top layer of the epidermis) as well as shaving away the soft peach-fuzz known as vellus hair to reveal smooth translucent skin. As these fine, downy hairs do not have a blood supply, they’ll grow back to their original state — no need to fear them becoming thicker or darker.

SUITABLE FOR:
This treatment is perfect for ageing skins to improve slowing cell turnover and is an excellent alternative to chemical peels, especially if you’re pregnant or lactating and unable to have a chemical peel or prefer not to. Before a big event, your makeup goes on flawlessly and will not settle on the surface, accentuating lines and wrinkles.
NOT RECCOMMENDED FOR:
• Any form of skin inflammation or trauma (pustular Acne, open skin lesions, cold sores, sunburn)
• Have used Isotretinoin (Oral Vitamin A) within the past 6 months
• Active Rosacea, Eczema or Psoriasis
• Prone to Keloid Scarring
DOWNTIME:
There is no downtime with epidermal levelling. Results are immediate and evident after a single treatment. Your skin will be noticeably smoother and soft to the touch, and any peach fuzz will be removed.
FREQUENCY:
Recommended as a monthly maintenance treatment or before an event for flawless makeup application. For exfoliation purposes - best results come from 3 treatments, 4-6 weeks apart. For hair removal - repeat treatments will be required depending on the re-growth cycle of your hair.
PRE-TREATMENT:
• Avoid excessive sun exposure 2 -3 days prior to your treatment
• Avoid all exfoliating skincare ingredients for 3 – 5 days prior to your treatment
POST-TREATMENT:
• Avoid all active/exfoliating skincare ingredients for 5 days
• Avoid UV exposure, saunas, spas or chlorinated pools for 48 hours
• Skin hydration and SPF are essential!
